In fact, in the times when appointments are not scheduled, artists are expected to be absent unless they are appointed to manage front desk and office operations. We will only have one support team member for such purposes at any given time, and often will not have any team members beyond service providers working on guests. Guests are at this point encouraged to come alone if at all possible as we will need to allow only 10 or fewer in the building at a time. We cannot accommodate walk-ins at this time and online booking is currently unavailable.

  We are enforcing a minimum of 15 to 30 minutes between guests so all proper sanitizing can be performed and there is no overlap of guest visits so as to push us beyond capacity. We will not provide service for anyone who is sick or appears to be sick. We are doing all we can to limit contact and still operate as long as responsibly possible. Your patience is so appreciated! We are in this together and we have certainly never been faced with this before. If we follow all the best guidance within our power, we will be through this sooner and stronger than ever! 

At least for now: Salons are not mandated to close if they are a free-standing establishment (outside a mall or shopping center); we will be extremely vigilant to drastically limit the traffic through the salon, and no artist will be made to work in order to fulfill appointments.

What we are doing at the salon to help:

 

•We are incorporating heavily the use of a pH-neutral version of the disinfectant sodium hypochlorite (NaoCl). It is safe and highly effective and we’re providing it throughout all areas of the salon for both guests and staff to have constant access to.
•Common areas including the front desk and reception area, bathroom, staff break room and offices are being regularly wiped down using the above stated disinfectant.
•We are also using it in place of water in our oil diffusers and humidifying air purifiers placed throughout the salon.
•We are disinfecting each station, chair, tools, and implements in between every client.
•Each artist is instructed to wash her hands pre-service and use NaoCl in spray form throughout the service.
•Our self-serve amenities bar will be removed for the time being, but coffee, tea, water and snacks are available upon request.

 

  Your health, safety, and hair are of our utmost concern, however, we ask that if you are not feeling well or have ANY signs of fever, cough, sore throat, etc. that you would reschedule your appointment. We will be waiving any cancellation fees at this time.
